Hey all. So, the wonderfully talented color artist and I have begun collaboration on a webcomic based off of the Alice in Wonderland books. We don't have any pages up yet, and are still going through character designs and what not, but if you want to check out the character concepts we have up go on over to and take a look. I'm doing the lineart and story line, and is doing the colors and helping out on inks. I'm also trying to sweet talk the wonderful into writing a few short one shots to go along with the story, but we'll see how that turns out. Yupyup, flight to Reno First Thing tomorrow to go visit my brother, and I'm meeting Eddie up there. This'll be FUN!!! Here's hoping my plane doesn't crash into a fiery explosion and kill everyone on the plane.

I'm a typical American college student. I live in a city and every now and then, something pops up in the news that just irks me. Today, a woman was let off scott free for kidnapping. This woman abducted a child from his elementary school eight months ago, telling the six year old boy that his mother was hurt and she was going to take him to see her. She held the boy at a friend of hers house for about 90 minutes, during which time she made four calls to the police and refused to return the child.

Her defense at trial was that she had taken the child because she was concerned for his safety, and she wanted to make a point of the lackadaisical school security in place in the city. Now, mind you, the child's mother was fine. This woman told the court she refused to return him to his mother, the school, or the police because she had a "gut feeling" that the child would be in danger. In my opinion, this woman is either guilty of kidnapping, having ABDUCTED a child...or she's criminally insane and needs to be committed.

Apparently, I am not the majority in this idea though, since she was found not guilty. I would like to hear everyone elses opinions on this.

1. What does your deviantart name mean and why did you join this site?
It's japanese for "Angel of Death" or "Tall/expensive Angel" Depends on the kanji used since the kanji for tall/expensive is pronounced the same as the kanji for death, but they look WAY different. Um, it's my DA name because back in junior year of high school when I thought I was all cool I was taking a japanese class and peeps in there gave me that nick name and it stuck. The only reason I joined DA originally was because my buddy Siriana wouldn't stop nagging me to put up my cruddy pictures.
